Out with the old, in with the new: let’s stay golden from one year to the next.
Just like every other year, there are so many things to look back on for 2016. I learned, I struggled but I demonstrated perseverance, nonetheless. This year, Joe and I grew as a couple and a family. In September, we celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary. While we thought that was a milestone all on its own, mid-May we found out we were pregnant with our first baby.
Safe to say that this year was totally golden.
Not to mention, my personal projects have grown and developed over the course of the year. I started this blog January of 2016. Running two websites, I had been a busy-bee, but the work has been so fulfilling and has definitely paid off. I’m eager to share more and to see what opportunities will be coming around next year.
Now, let’s take a look at a few of my favorite meals/desserts/stories from 2016:
This fish dinner was definitely cooked on “repeat” in our household.
Thai Coconut Shrimp Soup is probably one of my best homemade dishes – I am so proud of this creation!
Who can say no to macarons from Duc de Lorraine?
Patries that take me back to my childhood.
Seems like this year was full of love, deliciousness and hard work. Until next year!
I absolutely LOVE Ferrero Rocher! They are my absolute favorite go to chocolates. Looking at your other images, I hate to say, I’m one of those weirdos that doesn’t like macaroons! I’ve tried them, but for some reason, they don’t resonate with me!
