What can I say: I have an extremely busy schedule. Now, I’m not complaining because I totally love how my day-to-day routine goes. I get to strengthen my work ethic, write articles on a daily basis, do photoshoots every week – yes, lots of work but loads of fun.
I try to give myself weekends off as much as possible, and so by Saturday morning, I’m totally pooped from everything that took place during my Monday to Friday. What I love is that on the weekends, Joe will get up and prepare a delicious breakfast for me, always telling me to relax and take a break.
I know a plate of eggs and bacon may seem like a simple gesture, but it means the world to me.
The little things aren’t really little things. Few things bless my heart like when my husband gets up and makes the coffee so that I don’t have to. 🙂
Libby,
I totally agree! 🙂
Yummi! Seems so good! Today I made an omelette, it was so big that was more a brunch than a breakfast.
love your pictures!
Jade.
Jade,
I could have brunch every day of the week!
Looks so yummy! Love your blog dear!

Those of us who work m-f deserve the weekend off. I’m glad you choose to give yourself the weekend to yourself and do as you please! And of course- what a great, sweet hubby to cater to you the way he does 😉
Kristine,
I must say, I’m a pretty lucky woman! And yes, working Monday to Friday straight can get pretty exhausting and I totally feel my energy levels get low towards the end of the week.
Simple gestures are the best! I love Saturday breakfast too (nothing fancy), just appreciate the more relaxed vibe going thru the house on Saturday mornings.

Brynn,
Totally agree! Saturday mornings aren’t the same without hearing breakfast being cooked – the sizzle of bacon makes me extremely excited.
That is so sweet. I love having a nice Saturday morning breakfast. It definitely feels like a treat after a long week.

Dara,
Yes, exactly! That’s why I’m ever so grateful each and every time my husband makes me something. Gives me a chance to sit back and relax – more than I could ever ask for!
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! My favorite gesture is when my husband makes blueberry (or banana) pancakes on the weekends.
Bernice,
Ohh… I’m going to have to make that request one day too. Blueberry pancakes sound delicious!
I love a nice breakfast! Especially when it’s made by someone else!
Kelsey,
It’s the best! I hope you have a lovely brunch sometime this weekend. That’s what weekends are for!
