Delicious muffins with a lemony zest and a crumbly texture.
Lately, my husband Joe has been so wonderful about catering to my needs. I’ve been sending him non-stop to the grocery store so that he could buy all of my favorites snacks and treats (he leaves home with a rather long list). I was in a baking mood this past weekend (first time in awhile) and decided to whip something up that I knew he’d appreciate.
I wanted to try something new and muffins are not a baked good that I often tackle. I’m all about baking a dozen cute cupcakes, decorated with a light buttercream in a pastel color. So I decided to give a go and made a batch of Lemon Crumble Muffins since lemon desserts are Joe’s favorite.
I love the crunchy consistency these muffin tops have. The bottom half is so delicious and full of flavor that it’s hard to neglect that portion (I know so many people that do on muffins!).
